The municipality of Tavira is organising the Festival de Gastronomia Serrana, a festival devoted to the cuisine of the uplands of the Algarve Serra.

The festival will take place in participating restaurants, and will enable lovers of good food to savour some typical meals from the area and enjoy some magnificent countryside. An additional incentive for participants will be that they will be able to enter a prize draw to win a weekend at one of the following hotels: Pequeno Castelo – Santo Estêvão, Hotel Quinta do Marco e Herdade da Corte – Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, Monte do Álamo – Santiago and Vila Campina – Luz de Tavira.
