| FIESA FESTIVAL in the ALGARVE.
This Sand Sculpture Festival , the biggest sand city in the world! is open from 10.00 am to midnight. Daytime visits are best to appreciate the detail and skill inolved in the sculptures. Some of the figures are incredibly life-like with wonderful expressions. You can visit scenes from your favourite movies - Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, Spidermand and even Shrek. Fascinating during the day, at night the park takes on a magical glow. The sculptures are carefully illuminated to add to their beauty and mystery. The mellow atmosphere is complemented by the background music.There is plenty of animation and entertainment and even a public area where aspiring sculptors, young and old, can show off their skill.
Throughout the summer there are different concerts, live acts and events at Fiesa.
