About two kilometres distance from Carvoeiro, there is a par 3 nine-hole course, only 900 metres long designated by Dave Thomas. It is excellent for practising short irons. This is a very friendly par-3 course with nine holes close to the coastal village of Carvoeiro. Being only 926 metres in length it is an excellent course for beginners to practice and regular players to improve on their short game. There is an adequate number of bunkers and water hazards to keep most players keenly interested. The second hole is a good example of the essence of this course.
